Aloe Vera

Question:
I was reading about DentaTreat and saw aloe vera included in the list of ingredients. We have two cats and have read that aloe vera is not safe for either dogs or cats.

I was hoping you could provide more information.

Answer:
Toxicity has everything to do with dose. At the levels in this product and at the dosage used, there is no toxicity. However, if you do an Internet search on the benefits of aloe vera you will find over a million references.
