Weight Gain

Question:
I am just wondering if you have any suggestions for a non-anorexic or bulimic person who try's to eat healthy and who has been unable to gain weight her entire life. I am in my 40's and have recently had to contend with some food allergy issues and in the process I lost another 10 lbs that I can ill afford to lose and I am wondering which of your products might be more beneficial. I also am wondering about how well you can guarantee the life of your probiotics for dogs when they are on the pet food shelf and not in the refrigerated section as a human probiotic is in the health food store. Do you have any independent testing for live organisms of these products? I have a 14 year old dog who could benefit from your PDG or the biotic ph- but I would like to see some independent tests first. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Answer:
To answer that best we would need to have more of a feel for your diet. Also, it might be good to have a fecal examination to rule out parasites.

In the meantime, using Panzyme™ (http://www.wysong.net/PDFs/enzyme.pdf) and Probiosyn™ (http://www.wysong.net/PDFs/enzyme.pdf) to increase digestive efficiency may help. Our Protein supplement mixed in yogurt combined with UnCereal™, or in a shake with UnCereal™ may also help. (http://www.wysong.net/PDFs/proteinshake.pdf, http://www.wysonghealth.net/products/healthy-snacks-origins.php).

Unfortunately we do not have any control over how stores display our products. If you are unable to find a reliable local source, you may order directly from Wysong if you wish, as we keep the temperature sensitive products in a cooler up until shipment. Also, the short time of shipment will not hamper the effectiveness of the product. Testing has been done and there is good viability of organisms up to a year and more if kept in cool dry conditions. Liquid probiotics are much more vulnerable to degradation.

Question:
I wrote some time ago that my little picky eating 4 little maltese were less than thrilled at the variety of kibble I had purchased them.

I received some samples in the mail and tried every one. I finally now have

2 formulas they will eat: NURTURE & OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE.

???? I feed 2x's daily and add cooked chicken breast to each meal.

Is this necessary?

???? I purchased the PDF to promote weight gain..... didn't have an effect.

She's still a 2.4 pound, very skinny, little girl..... I feed her multiple times a day. (SHE'S not a sickly dog either)

???? I've been purchasing Angel Eyes to prevent those dark tear stains that are ugly! on my beautiful white dogs. Any suggestions?

I'll be placing an order today or tomorrow.... so need advice!

Thanks for your dedication to nutrition to our beloved pets and ourselves!

Answer:
You do not need to feed fresh meat or kibble at every meal. Variety and rotation are the keys to health.

If you have not had your hard gainer checked for parasites, that would be wise to do. You might consider increasing the dosage of PDG, but also trying some foods that may help with weight gain, including the Nurture™ and Optimal Performance™ you noted, as well as Epigen™ and the TNT™ products.

If none of this works it just may be that you have a naturally slim dog. If all else is well that is not a problem.

We do not have any information about the Angel Eyes products, but we have had reports of eyes clearing up with Archetype™ and Epigen™ added to the diet. You might also try the AddLife™ and EFA™ supplements.
