WaterQuestion:I wonder if you could provide some clarification for me on the subject of alkaline ionized water. I have read enough literature to be convinced that it is beneficial to human health, but what about for dogs? I would think there would be some differences as their systems differ from that of humans. If I'm not mistaken, their bodies are acidic whereas ours should in theory be alkaline. Does Wysong recommend this water for dogs? If so, should they be drinking water produced at the same settings as for humans? I've been giving my dog Sparkletts water, which has been purified through reverse osmosis with minerals added back. But I just found out that RO water leeches from the body as well as from the plastic/stainless steel bowl it is served in. I love my dog more than anything and want to provide the very best there is for him. Do you have any advice on this matter? I realize as a Wysong representative you want to sell Wysong products. Let me assure you that I am a loyal Wysong Customer and purchase all of my dog's food from you guys. But as far as purchasing a water filtration/ionization system, I'm looking into another company mainly because I can purchase items at a discounted rate. I don't suppose you would be able to comment on your Wysong's thoughts about a system such as the Athena or the Jupiter. I'm just looking for a non-biased opinion on the quality of these systems. It seems like everyone offers a lot of convincing information but it comes down to them wanting to sell their product. Sorry, I know I asked a number of questions in this entry. But mainly I want to find out if alkaline ionized water is good for dogs. Answer:

It is not unusual for increased water consumption on concentrated high protein diets. Do keep in mind that Wysong diets are meant to be rotated. No diet, regardless of its merits, should be fed relentlessly(see links below). My first question is what percent of the time are such chickens available? (2) My second question is, do you have a wet cat food for a cat with struvite crystals? If not, can water be added to your dry struvite formulation? There are web sites that strongly recommend against putting water on dry cat food, because lingering bacteria on dry food that can multiply rapidly with added moisture. What do your folks think? Processing destroys bacteria but bacteria can grow on any food, dry or wet. Canned food (or dry food with water added) should not be unrefrigerated for more than two hours.
