Stomatitis

Question:
Firstly thank you so much for your extremely helpful products and informative website for our pets. I am looking for help for one of my male cats who is 12 years old, thank you so much.

I have already ordered your Dentatreat and DreamTreats for Teeth for my cat, hoping that they can help with his teeth tartar buildup problem, as I do not want to take the risk of anesthesia for dental cleaning, since he is doing well with his appetite (he is fed a raw-based diet) and activity and I wouldn't want to do anything that may change that. I am looking into ways to help him with chronic stomatitis/tracheitis associated to calicivirus, which has been an issue for a year now. He is on a lot of supplements, but the issues are still there.

Regarding enzymes for my cats, I have read conflicting information: Your thorough handout explains how fungal enzymes are best as they start acting fast and can survive more acidic pH in the stomach, however Dr Karen Becker says in her site that she saw 'huge problems with fungal enzymes, especially with individuals suffering from allergies', she does not explain what the problems were however, so it sounds scary. I would be so grateful to you if you could advice me on possible problems arising from the use of fungal enzymes for my cats please?
